PASSAIC, N.J. – Acting Passaic Mayor Hector Lora could get a 60 percent pay raise under an ordinance introduced by the City Council, NorthJersey.com reports.

If approved, the ordinance would increase the mayor’s annual salary from $72,295 to $115,000, with the new salary taking effect on July 1, the story says.
