Maker's Festival Comes To Paterson Charter School

PATERSON, N.J. -- The "Make Things Happen Maker’s Festival" takes place at the Paterson Arts & Science Charter School on Saturday, April 16.

The festival takes place from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and is a free celebratory gathering of the maker movement. Participants of all ages and interests -- from hobbyists, crafters, engineers, and students -- will come together to share what they have learned as explorers of new forms and new technologies. 

iLearn Schools is hosting the event with the Museum of Interesting Things and the following sponsors, all of whom will be at the event,

  • Novartis Science Hydroponics
  • Maker’s Empire

Participants will see how things happen and have the opportunity to makes things happen. 

Paterson Arts & Science Charter School is located at 764 11th Ave. from 

iLearn School’s mission is to provide the ideal environment for the intellectual and social development of its students by utilizing a combined effort of students, educators, families, and the community as a whole. 

They currently operate Bergen Arts & Sciences Charter School Elementary in Garfield, Passaic Arts & Sciences Charter School Elementary in Passaic, Paterson Arts & Science Charter School Elementary in Paterson, and Bergen Arts & Sciences Charter School High in Hackensack.
