In the November 2015 election, 53 percent of voters initially shot down the full-day proposal 5,048 to 4,455 on the ballot question.
The Board of Education continues to explore the implementation of a Kindergarten Wrap-Around program. This program is designed to complement and extend a student’s overall kindergarten experience in a half-day model.
The wrap around program would provide instruction and and enrichment consistent with the regular kindergarten program. The wrap around program would cost parents $250 a month.
