Wayne Teachers Trained In New Apple Classroom App

WAYNE, N.J. -- Teachers from Pines Lake Elementary School in Wayne visited the Apple Store at Willowbrook Mall last week, to receive training on the new iTunes University classroom app.

Teachers were guided through an interactive workshop to learn about a new approach to classroom instruction and organization. Pines Lake Principal Jose Celis joined the teachers in learning a creative digital approach to engage students with rich learning materials, such as books, videos, apps, podcasts and primary sources. 

Garage Band, iMovie, and a host of instructional apps were showcased to give teachers innovative options for presenting instructional lessons and providing students with an increased role in the learning process.
