Pompton Lakes Poets Seek New Members

POMPTON LAKES, N.J. -- Scribes looking to unleash their inner muse are invited to join the next meeting of the Pompton Poets on Wednesday, Aug. 31 at the library.

The next meeting of the Pompton Poets in Pompton Lakes will be Dec. 30 with George Pereny, at left.

Poets, writers, readers and listeners are invited to join musician and educator George Peren.

Since the age of sixteen, Peren has written and performed his poems and songs all over the metro area. Over the years he has been published more than 200 times in anthologies, magazines and newspapers.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Meetings are held monthly.

The Emanuel Einstein Memorial Library is located at 333 Wanaque Ave.
