LITTLE FALLS, N.J. -- It’s hard to resist the summertime combo of sipping and noshing outdoors. All you need is some sun (or shade) and your choice of a secluded patio, sidewalk seating or a rooftop deck -- and someone else doing the cooking, cleaning and serving.

Why It's Outdoor Worthy: This former martini bar turned sports joint has a fun, funky décor complete with sharks and surfboards hanging from the ceiling and music memorabilia on the walls. Its long and narrow layout -- and its close to two dozen TVs -- means the place gets a little crazy -- and loud come game nights. Which is where the outdoor patio comes in stage right, making for a nice place to chow down on brick oven pizza, killer burgers, wings and pretzel bits while relaxing under a few Christmas-light-laden palm trees during the warmer months and around a nice, cozy fire pit in the cooler ones.
