Blind Wayne Twins Get Disabled Dog Early For Christmas

WAYNE, N.J. — Disabled twins from Wayne had their Christmas wish of getting a dog that was just like them granted Tuesday morning.

Both Tianna and Gianna Johnson, 10, are legally blind — Gianna also has autism. 

They got pit bull Carmela as a donation from grooming salon owner Sandy Roberto, who found the dog.

"[My daughters] always say 'never pass up a chance to play or talk to someone who is differently-abled," the twins' mom, Dana Polito Corry, told Daily Voice, "because they may become your best friend."
