Passaic Girl, 3, Still Critical After Mom, Brother Die From Car Exhaust

PASSAIC, N.J. — More than $3,200 had been raised as of Monday afternoon on a GoFundMe site for the funeral of a 23-year-old mother and her 1-year-old son who died of carbon monoxide poisoning on Saturday night while sitting in a car with a tailpipe blocked by snow.

Sashalynn Rosa and baby Messiah Bonilla were pronounced dead at St. Mary's Hospital on Saturday night. Three-year-old Saniyah Bonilla — Rosa's daughter, who was also in the car — remains in critical condition at St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center.

Saniyah is a contestant on Bidiboo's cutest baby competition.

Funeral arrangements have not been made yet, police said.
