Andy Bisesi, the general supervisor for distribution at PVWC, said the original call about the break of a 6-inch water main at 503 Gregory Ave. came in around 7 a.m. and a crew responded about a half hour later. He said to expect poor pressure or discolored water while repairs are being made.

"It's normal with any kind of break," he said. Once repairs are complete, the system will be flushed and things should be "back to normal" with clean water.

Bisesi said he is "leaning on" the changing weather conditions' impact on the water main as a cause for the break. He expects repairs to be completed in the early afternoon.
