Letters are going out explaining the circumstances to everyone who booked parties.

"We have all intentions of returning our customers their deposits in processing this closing," the owners said on Facebook.

Teacher Lindsay Hessenius booked her school's June 2 year-end retirement at Paris Inn and has at least $200 on the line.

She found out Paris Inn closed from social media and now the social committee at the Fairfield school is scrambling.

"June is such a busy month to try and find an opening elsewhere," she said.

Owner Antonio Petritsis said they are closing the 50-year-old business due to personal reasons.

Area banquet halls said they will work with people who already made deposits at Paris Inn.
