Dorothy Udes, 91, Of North Haledon

NORTH HALEDON, N.J. -- Dorothy Udes, of North Haledon, died on Dec. 17. She was 91.

Born in Paterson, she lived in Haledon before moving to North Haledon in 2013. She was a banker with the First National Bank in Paterson, leaving there to raise her family. Upon returning to work she was an Office Manager with Quality Ambulance Service in Dover retiring in 2004. She was a life-long member of Unity Christian Reformed Church in Prospect Park and a volunteer dispatcher for the Haledon Ambulance Corp.

She is predeceased by her husband, Henry Udes. 

She is survived by her children, John Udes and his wife Laurie and Karen Bosloper and her husband Edward; grandchildren, Brian, Steven and Kelly Bosloper, Amanda Udes and Wesley and Tammy Lomax.

The family will receive family and friends on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. at Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes and on Wednesday from 10-11a.m. at The Holland Christian Home, North Haledon followed by an 11 a.m. service. Interment will be at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. 

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in her memory to The Holland Christian Home Foundation, Attn: Mountainview, 151 Graham Ave., North Haledon, NJ 07508.
