CLIFTON, N.J. -- Josephine Lonisi, of Clifton, died on Dec. 16. She was 88.
Before retiring, she was a line foreman and union representative for Shulton Inc. in Clifton. She was a parishioner of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church in Passaic. She was active in the church community, including serving as a Eucharistic Minister and Girl Scout leader for many years.
She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Jennie Frino and husband, Joseph Lonisin.
She is survived by her children, Lynn Spurdis, Barbara Keller, Edward Priestley, Maryjo Torchia and Joseph Lonisin; grandchildren, Patty, Edward, Joey, Dana, Sherylee, EJ, Jenna, Dana, Tyler, and Troy; great-grandchildren, Brandon, Aaron, Christian, Julia, Scarlett, Brian, Gianna, Lucia, Brendan, and Simon; great-great-grandchild, Harper; siblings, Anthony Frino, and the late Dominick Frino, Virginia Sisco, and Catherine D’Aloisio.
The funeral will be on Monday at 8:30 a.m. at Santangelo Funeral Home, 300 N. Main St., Lodi. A 10 a.m. funeral mass is on the same day at Mt. Carmel R.C. Church in Passaic. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Saddle Brook.
