Raymond R. Van Walleghem, 67, Formerly Of Paterson

PATERSON, N.J. – Raymond R. Van Walleghem, a resident of Machipongo, Va. and formerly of Paterson, died Tuesday, April 5. He was 67.

Born in Paterson, he lived in Wayne and North Haledon, before moving to Virginia two years ago. Prior to his retirement, he was an operations manager with Primex Plastics in Garfield.

He is survived by his wife Anne Van Walleghem; children RayAnne Syme and her husband Geoffrey and Ryan Van Walleghem and his wife Cheryl Meyer; grandchildren Emma and Grace Syme and Raymond and William Van Walleghem; and siblings Richard Van Wallenghem and Barbara Van Walleghem.

The family will receive family and friends from 2-4:30 p.m. Sunday at Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes followed by a 4:30 p.m. memorial service at the funeral home.

The family requests donations be made in his memory to The Lustgarten Foundation, 1111 Stewart Ave., Bethpage, NY 11714.
