TOTOWA, N.J. -- A fire that neighbors said apparently began in a garbage bin between two Totowa houses spread to both of them Tuesday afternoon, responders said.

No injuries were reported in the two-alarm Boyle Avenue blaze, which broke out just before 2 p.m.

Clifton, Haledon, Little Falls, Paterson, West Paterson and Woodland Park firefighters joined their Totowa colleagues at the scene.
