Thomas Hansen, 22, was already in the Passaic County Jail, having been arrested Feb. 21 on drug charges, when Detective Alex Zamora connected him to more than a dozen car break-ins reported in a four- to five-block radius of the Rosemawr section a few days before.

Hansen was charged with 15 counts of burglary, Detective Lt. Robert Bracken said.
