TEANECK, N.J. – A businessman from Teaneck got busted after selling cocaine to an undercover detective, authorities said.
Detectives who got a tip in March that Stephen A. Lopez-Lejarde, 31, was dealing in the Teaneck area orchestrated a sting that led to his arrest at his home on Wednesday, Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal said.
Lopez-Lejarde -- who owns a restaurant not identified by authorities -- was released on a summons charging him with minor cocaine distribution.
A Dec. 20 first appearance was scheduled in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack.
