Push Your Limits At Passaic County Junior Police Academy

WAYNE, N.J.– Passaic County Sheriff Richard H. Berdnik wants participants to "push themselves to the limit" at this summer's Junior Police Academy in Wayne.

If you're an 11-to-14-year-old Passaic County resident "up for the challenge," you can join either the Aug. 1-5 or Aug. 8-12 session, the sheriff said Friday.

Both run from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily at the Passaic County Police Academy, 214 Oldham Road.

Applications don't guarantee entry, the sheriff noted. 

Each applicant's name will be placed on a list to reserve his or her spot, he added.

More information will be e-mailed after the application has been submitted. 

Transportation won't be available, the sheriff said.
