Woodland Park Police Issue Alert After Possible Luring Incident

WOODLAND PARK, N.J. -- Woodland Park police issued an alert Wednesday about a possible luring incident in the area of Maple Avenue.

"Come here, come here," the alleged victim told police an occupant of a white van said to him after the vehicle stopped at his driveway at 7:50 a.m. Wednesday, Police Chief Anthony Galietti said.

"We are asking everyone to be vigilant and to forward any information that you may have to the Woodland Park Detective Bureau -- 973-345-8115 or at detectives@wpnj.us," the chief said.
