The North Haledon Parent-Teacher Organization and Manchester Regional High School have set up a special mailbox that will deliver letters to Santa Claus this holiday season.

The box opened on Nov. 21 at the Municipal Building, 103 Overlook Ave., according to a post on the borough's Facebook page

According to organizers, the mailbox will be open between 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday through Dec. 9.

While Santa will be too busy preparing his reindeer for the big night, all letters dropped in the special mailbox will be answered by one of his helpers, according to organizers.

The mailbox will not accept any letters after 4:30 p.m. on Dec. 9. Anyone who misses that deadline can still drop off their letters at the mayor's holiday party at 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 10 in the All-purpose Room at the High Mountain School, 515 High Mountain Road.
