Wayne Schools Earn 'Fuel Up And Play' Hometown Grant

WAYNE, N.J. -- Three township schools were awarded a Fuel Up and Play 60 Hometown grant to fund physical education and nutrition materials and supplies.

Anthony Wayne Middle School, Ryerson, and Pines Lake Elementary Schools will share the $10,000 grant sponsored by the American Daily Association to foster sound nutrition based on a good breakfast, and more healthy lifestyles.

Fuel Up and Play 60 is supported by the National Football League, and New York Giants wide receiver Amani Toomer visited Wayne students to speak with them about healthy eating and maintaining an active lifestyle.
