Septic Truck Flips, Dump Truck Crashes Into Trees On Route 7 In Loudoun County: State Police
A septic truck rolled, a dump truck slammed into trees, and a driver had to be cut out of the wreck — all on a Loudoun County highway, Virginia State Police said.
Troopers responded at 2:15 p.m. on Friday, June 13, to a wreck on the ramp from Route 267 west to the Route 7 Bypass, according to police.
One dump truck ended up smashed into trees. The other truck, a fully loaded septic hauler, rolled onto its side and pinned the driver in the seat.
The right and center lanes of Route 7 Bypass were shut down, along with the ramp, while fire crews worked to rescue the driver.

A statewide Amber Alert is active after a Maryland boy was abducted by his mother and may be in danger, according to police.
Antonio Lamar Jackson, 4, was last seen around 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, in the area of southbound Route 295 in Anne Arundel County, according to the Baltimore County Police Department and Maryland State Police.
Investigators believe Antonio was taken by his biological mother, Erica Kiarra Brooks, 33. Police say both were last seen wearing navy blue scrubs and gray T-shirts.
The two may be traveling in a black 2016 Nissan Rogue with Maryland tag T2005657.

'Cut And Run' Hollywood Man Caught After Snipping Off GPS Monitor, Fleeing Before Trial
A Southern Maryland man who snipped off his ankle monitor and disappeared while awaiting trial has been caught, authorities said.
Andrew Phillip Nelson, 29, of Hollywood, was apprehended without incident on Wednesday, May 28, in Mechanicsville, according to the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office.
Nelson had been on the run since April 21, when deputies responded to a tampering alert from his GPS monitoring device in the 43000 block of Saint Johns Road in Hollywood.
When they got there, they found the device ditched—and no sign of Nelson.

A man accused of fatally shooting two teenagers during a suspected drug deal involving a carjacked vehicle in Maryland is now wanted for murder, police announced.
Duan Goddard, 27, of Fort Washington, is charged with killing 16-year-old Thomas Smith Jr., of Washington, DC, and 16-year-old Michael Bassett, of Temple Hills, according to the Prince George’s County Police Department.

A Clinton man is dead after another driver crossed the center line and slammed into his car in a violent head-on crash, authorities said.
Gabriel Butler, 61, died Tuesday, April 15, one day after the two-vehicle wreck on Old Crain Highway in Upper Marlboro, according to Prince George’s County Police.
Officers were called to the 4600 block just before 2:30 p.m. Monday, April 14, and arrived to find Butler with serious injuries after being hit head-on by an oncoming vehicle that crossed the double yellow line, investigators said.
