At 1:28 a.m., Morris and Essex Line train 6907, which departed New York Penn Station and was en route to Dover, struck and fatally injured Dylan Faulkner, NJ Transit said. A native of England, Faulkner moved to Summit at the age of 12, attending middle school and high school there, according to his obituary. Man Fatally Struck By Train In Summit: NJ Transit
A man was fatally struck by a train near Summit Station, early Tuesday morning, May 27, authorities said. At 1:28 a.m., Morris and Essex Line train 6907, which departed New York Penn Station and was en route to Dover, struck and fatally injured the man, NJ Transit said. There were no injuries reported to the approximately 50 customers or crew on board, NJ Transit said. New Jersey Transit Police are leading the investigation.

A 30-year-old Dover resident was arrested and charged with robbery on Saturday, Jan. 25 in Denville, authorities said. At 1:49 p.m., officers responded to the Union Hill Shopping Center on a report of an armed robbery, Denville police said. The suspect, Raul Green, was found with a large wad of cash, which he had taken from a retail store, police said. Green was ultimately arrested for robbery of the store and attempted robbery of additional stores, police said. No weapons were found on Green's person, police said.
