On Friday, Jan. 17 at 1:58 p.m., Roy Wilson was driving his Honda Pilot northbound on the New Jersey Turnpike in Westampton Township, when he lost control of the vehicle, striking the concrete barrier, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. The crash happened on Friday, Jan. 31 at around 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of Yonkers Avenue and Central Park Avenue in Yonkers, when an elderly man crossing the street was hit by a car after the driver failed to see him, according to Yonkers Police Sgt.
