'Jeopardy!': Stamford Native To Compete In High School Reunion Tourney
Two college students with ties to Connecticut who made previous appearances on Jeopardy! will soon come back to the show as part of a new spin on the show's College Championship.
Yale University junior Lucas Miner and Stamford native Hannah Nekritz will both appear on the show on Tuesday, Feb. 28, and Thursday, March 2, respectively. Both of them previously appeared on the show's Teen Tournaments which were aired in 2019.

A man accused of raping a child multiple times in 2015 has been arrested in Miami Flordia, authorities announced on Friday, Feb. 24, 2023.
Teuris Lafargue-Millet, now 48-years-old, was arrested at 1:26 p.m. on Friday in connection with the sexual assaults that happened first happened on January 1, 2015, Harrisburg Bureau of Police explain in a release.
He is being charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, unlawful contact with a minor, and corruption of minors, police say and court records confirm.

Luz Hernandez's Ex-Partner Charged With Murder
The ex-partner of Luz Hernandez, the Jersey City teacher found dead earlier this month, has been charged with murder in her death.
Cesar Santana, who was captured at a motel in Miami days after 33-year-old Hernandez was found dead in a shallow Kearny grave, was extradited to New Jersey on Feb. 21, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said.
Santana had previously been charged with desecrating/concealing human remains, but after his extradition was slapped with hindering, failing to dispose of human remains, and tampering with physical evidence, authorities said.

Arrests In Luz Hernandez Case: One Suspect Captured In Miami, 2nd Remains At Large
One person has been arrested and another remains at large in the case of slain Jersey City mom Luz Hernandez.
Cesar Santana, 36, was captured at a motel in Miami while Leiner Miranda Lopez, 26, was still being sought as of 12 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, on charges of desecrating/concealing human remains, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said.
The men were stopped by police on Sunday, Feb. 5 in Kearny, the day before the 33-year-old Kindergarten teacher was reported missing, Suarez said. Santana's vehicle was impounded by Kearny police because it was unregistered, the prosecutor said.
