An 18-year-old Pleasantville resident was arrested and charged after he shot a man in the head at a Popeyes in Mays Landing, authorities said.
On Monday, June 9, officers responded to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Pomona, where a man was being treated for a gunshot wound to the head, Township of Hamilton police said.
An investigation determined the shooting occurred in the Popeyes parking lot at 4616 Black Horse Pike earlier that evening, police said.

Walgreens Announces Dozens Of Upcoming Closures, Including In New Haven County
Walgreens announced this past fall that it will close about 1,200 stores over three years amid a decline in prescription drug payments and a rise in online competition.
About 500 of those closures will be in 2025.

A 26-year-old Pleasantville man was indicted on Wednesday, Feb. 19 for the murder of his girlfriend last year, authorities said.
On Monday, Dec. 2, 2024, Pleasantville police responded to 132 Edgewater Ave. and found Leslianet Quintana-Betancourt, a 25-year-old Pleasantville resident, unresponsive, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said.
