A 67-year-old New York woman’s so-called girls' trip went completely off the rails in Virginia—ending with a passenger in the road, a felony hit-and-run, and a stop at jail instead of a hotel, authorities said.
Bluff Point resident Lori Amberg was arrested on Friday, June 20, in Stafford County, after allegedly driving drunk, assaulting her passenger, and hitting that same woman with her SUV after she tried to get out, according to the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office.

A Virginia man was ejected from his speeding car and then struck by another vehicle during a violent crash on I-95 in Stafford County, Virginia State Police said.
The three-car crash happened around 8:25 p.m. Saturday, May 17, in the northbound lanes of the interstate, according to Virginia State Police.
