A 27-year-old woman is facing felony drug charges after being pulled over in Dutchess County, police said.
The arrest happened on Sunday, March 30, when a trooper stopped a 2024 Toyota traveling on the Taconic State Parkway in LaGrange for multiple traffic violations, New York State Police announced on Tuesday, April 1.

A routine traffic stop in the Capital Region ended with a 16-year-old girl in handcuffs on weapons charges.
Watervliet Police stopped a vehicle at around 5 p.m. Sunday, March 23. During the investigation, the officer determined that the 16-year-old girl driving did not have a valid driver’s license.
The officer then discovered a loaded, illegally-possessed 22 caliber handgun protruding from the waistband of a 16-year-old girl in the passenger’s seat, police said.
