Haledon's Jimmy Geez Is A DVlicious Finalist For 'Best Wings In Passaic'

HALEDON, N.J. -- They’re messy, they’re spicy and they’re addictive. It’s no wonder they’re often served by the dozen. We asked Daily Voice readers for their favorite Passaic County chicken wings spots and now have five finalists in the running.

In the spirit of "winging it" (sorry, we couldn't resist the pun), each restaurant is being profiled this week, with the contest ending 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23.

Wing Choices: More than 10 with 15 to 20 different kind of dressings, everything from Buffalo to Thai chili to garlic teriyaki to spicy garlic.

Most popular heat level: Wings come in wimpy, medium, mild hot and nuclear. The most popular sauce is the housemade B&B, a special "secret recipe" blend.

Good to Know: There are always new sauces being added so customers never get bored. For the truly wing obsessed, there is a 40 wing challenge – basically if you can down 40 wings in an hour, the wings are free and you get a T-shirt.
