June and especially July (it's National Hot Dog month, after all) are prime times for enjoying this quintessential American favorite. The only question: Who makes 'em best?

Frank Talk: In business since 1928, Rutt's Hutt, a Passaic County institution that's been featured on numerous food-related TV shows, is known for being the 'home of the ripper," a pork-and-beef Thumann’s link that’s deep-fried in beef fat until it rips apart. It's also well known for its relish, made with a secret blend of mustard and spices. It's so good, they sell it to go.
Rutt's Hut, a DVlicious 2016 winner, was also rated number one hot dogs in the country in 2016 by dailymeal.com.
